Often grown for their dramatic foliage - large banana-like leaves - Cannas provide a strong ornamental interest and immediately give a touch of the tropics in the garden. Ranging from 2-8 ft. tall (60- 240 cm), they bloom from mid-summer to fall in a warm array of colors varying from red, orange, and yellow to pink or cream. Canna Lilies look their best when massed along walls or hedges or in garden beds where they will proudly stand out. Spectacular on a patio, they are well suited to container growing.
