I played them for a little while and I loved the rim. It is so comfortable to play. I love the increase in dynamic range on both ends. They have some nice softs. BTW I love the way my Hickman pieces play. Give steel a chance. They play really well. Clint 'Pops' McLaughlin Dave Hickman Signature "Big Boy" Orchestral Trumpet Mouthpiece Designed for Dave Hickman. Available with two different rim styles–a wide rim that Dave has used forever, and a more traditional Bach style rim. Dave's rim is extremely comfortable, and can be played for hours without the typical exhaustion and fatigue that occurs
