The round button is 1.75" in diameter in metal champagne bronze finish, it is beautiful and durable. The push button activates the garbage disposal by sending air to the power controller. This meets code and is the only safe way to have a switch installed in a countertop by not using electricity. Simply press the button to turn your disposal on, then press again to turn off.  Easy Installation To install drill a 1 3/8" hole where you want the button to be, drop the button into the hole and thread the lock nut up to the underside of the countertop securing it in place.
