Higonokami Folding Knife - Brass

The Higonokami Folding Knife from Japan is a traditional utility knife that has been in use for over a century. Lightweight, compact and equipped with a strong iron steel blade has made this knife a must-have everyday item.  Perfect for picnics, camping and general usage. An eyelet near the base of the handle can be used to store this knife away on a key fob, lanyard or clasped inside a bag.  The double-edged V-shaped blade can be used on either side regardless of your dominant hand. The hand-forged blue steel blade has been crafted with a Warikomi technique that encloses the hard steel in the middle with a soft iron on the outside.  The unfinished brass handle contains small scratches, and with time and use will darken and develop an intriguing character specific to its user.  Handcrafted in Japan Material: Blue Steel / St Measures:
