Artists Sculpting Giant Pile of Sand Into Largest Sandcastle Imperial Beach Has Seen – NBC 7 San Diego

Walk along Portwood Pier Plaza in the next few days and you’ll gradually see a giant mountain of sand gradually molded into a stunning two-story sandcastle – an ambitious project that hasn’t been done before in IB.
Sand sculpting artists from around the country have flocked to Portwood Pier Plaza in Imperial Beach to create a two-story sandcastle and cityscape.
