Before designing and launching her line of body complimenting hosiery, Spanx founder Sara Blakely had established herself as a successful door-to-door saleswoman, selling fax machines and office supplies. She was so successful, in fact, that her employer, Danka, named her national sales trainer at the age of 25. Launching in 2000 with Blakely's own designs for footless pantyhose, the company expanded in 2014 to include a line of slimming denim to products that includes everything from bras to yoga apparel. In March 2016, FORBES pegged Blakely's net worth at $1.19 billion.
