Organic Wool / Cotton Shikibuton Mattress by TFS Honest Sleep. Traditional folding Shikibuton mattress made from layers of organic cotton and encased in a cotton twill fabric case. This Shikibuton mattress is made for use on the floor with a coconut coir bed rug, a tatami mat or on a slatted bed frame.
Traditional Folding Mattress This is a 4 traditional shikibuton, not a regular mattress. The fibres are soft, and settle to be firm and dense with use. Please ensure you are familiar with this style of sleeping. Shikibutons are made from layers of wool and cotton, surrounded by a cotton twill fabric case. They are made for use on the floor or a slatted frame with a coconut coir bed rug or tatami mat. The breathable and lightweight fibres allow for a deeper night's sleep, as the wool repels moisture and regulates heat.
