Women Treated for Breast Cancer Age Faster Than Cancer-Free Women

New research found that women who underwent breast cancer treatment physically aged more than individuals who were not diagnosed with breast cancer. Radiation was found to be the treatment method that aged patients the fastest; surgery, on the other hand, showed no association with biological aging.
