Free Yoga Class for Breast Cancer Community in Pasadena Sunday

YogaWorks Pink, a restorative fitness program for people living with and thriving after breast cancer, will host a free yoga class at the Pasadena Memorial Park on Sunday morning, March 5th. The class will run from 10-11 a.m. and will be open to anyone who has been touched by breast cancer – patients, survivors, family members and caregivers. The class will be led by YogaWorks instructor Ashley Rideaux and TV host Samantha Harris, who is also a breast cancer survivor and YogaWorks Pink celebrity ambassador. Harris and Rideaux will share their personal stories and insights on how yoga can help with physical and emotional recovery from breast cancer after the class. They will also be available for interviews. YogaWorks Pink is the first-ever certified yoga program for breast cancer treatment and recovery. It offers access to on-demand and daily live classes that are tailored to the specific needs and challenges of people affected by breast cancer. The classes include meditations, deep breathing exercises, gentle poses with modifications for limited mobility, strength-building sequences and more.
